Bathrooms and Cell Phones
No Place to co-exist
We stood there waiting
Slowly getting pissed
“Get off the Phone”
One lady said loudly
“That’s very Rude”
another said proudly
We stood and listened
to flush after flush
she talked on and on
Not even a blush
Intermission was short
and only 3 stalls
This lady tied up one
and continued her calls
Blah, Blah this
and Blah Blah that
she just wouldn’t stop
and proceeded to chat
One after another
requested she cease
She pressed on oblivious
of all the crossed knees
Shifting from one foot
to the other again
The crowd became insistent
for her talking to end
She stayed in the stall
From beginning to end
Each in the bathroom
She did offend
The lights flickered off and on
As many of us moaned
To return to our seats
With her still on the throne.
The lesson is simple
so please take heed
don’t talk on the phone
We all need to pee
